- For data collection in our old system, we used a simple DOS terminal program that has been very useful for other tasks as well, LI-1000, here: LI-1000.zip (117 kb). One big limitation is that it does not recognize serial ports beyond 1-3.
- The program that is running on the Campbell Scientific 23X for collecting thermocouple sap flow data is very simple. It should be set to collect on the smallest voltage range using a differential voltage, since the voltages produced by thermocouples are so small. Do NOT use the thermocouple measuring command, as those are designed for single-junction thermocouples, not the double-junctions that we are employing here.
- The Python script created by Yeung Lam that is running on the Epia computer that collects data from the Campbell Scientific CR23X datalogger, connected through a serial cable, is here: Campbell-data-retrieval.py (4kb)
- The software and instructions for the National Instruments compact RIO is available through the SensorKit website.
